It's all right there in the box.

I think it's safe to say that everyone has some sort of ritual in the morning.  Some people drag themselves out of bed, drag themselves into the shower, then rush to get dressed, run out the door, fight traffic and barely make it to work, avoiding the boss so you don't appear disheveled.  Oh wait! That's me!  But I'm sure the majority of you can relate to part or all of my morning routine.  One thing I did leave out is that after successfully avoiding my boss's look of unapproval, I log onto my computer and with a couple of clicks, I start the soundtrack of my day, produced by Pandora's Box.

Ever been in a mosh pit with Bach playing?


Many people claim to be metal heads and/or overall rock fans, but they often look past the fact that some of the darkest, goriest, and downright scary music derives from classical music. It takes a musical ear to hear this, but with a few things pointed out to the common listener, a connection can be made. As said by Steve Asheim, the drummer and primary songwriter for the Satanic death metal band Deicide, “I listen to classical piano. Some of that stuff rips it up and is actually reminiscent of metal, for me anyway. I think it gives a broader range of what’s possible in constructing songs and music.”
